Life Coach & Operations Manager
Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, Sara brings a deep love for movement, wellness, and community to Grounded Mind Studios.
With a lifelong background in dance, Sara has trained in many styles and has remained closely connected to the local dance community. Her passion for movement continues to shape the way she supports others, especially through mindful practices like tap dance, body awareness, and creative expression.
Sara serves as both a Life Coach and Operations Manager for Grounded Mind Studios. Her work is rooted in wellness advocacy, helping others feel supported, encouraged, and more connected to themselves.
Outside of the studio, Sara enjoys crocheting, journaling, exploring local restaurants, and sharing thoughtful reviews of products and community experiences.
Sara brings warmth, creativity, and steady support to the heart of Grounded Mind Studios.
Meet Sara
When he is not teaching, Grant enjoys spending time outdoors camping, hiking, exploring nature, and rock hounding. Having spent time working on a Colorado dude ranch, he developed a deep appreciation for horses, horsemanship, and the mindfulness that comes from being connected to the natural world. He also enjoys playing music, attending community events, and spending quality time with his sons—whether that means tossing a ball in the yard or gathering around the table for a game of Dungeons & Dragons.
As a father, entrepreneur, and lifelong student of personal development, Grant understands the challenges of balancing work, family, and personal growth in a fast-paced world. His mission is to create welcoming spaces where people can pause, reconnect, and discover practical tools for living with greater purpose, presence, and intention.
Grant's approach is influenced by years of study in mindfulness, yoga philosophy, and contemplative practices, while remaining grounded in real-world application. He believes mindfulness is not something reserved for a meditation cushion—it can be practiced while working, parenting, hiking a trail, riding a horse, or simply taking a conscious breath in the middle of a busy day. Whether leading a yoga class, facilitating a mindfulness workshop, or working one-on-one with clients, he strives to make wellness approachable, practical, and transformational.
As a mindfulness coach and yoga instructor, Grant helps individuals, teams, and organizations reduce stress, improve self-awareness, and cultivate resilience in everyday life. His teaching style blends mindfulness practices, breathwork, meditation, and movement into experiences that are both accessible and meaningful for beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
Before founding Grounded Mind Studios, Grant spent more than two decades in the construction and remodeling industry, managing projects, leading teams, and navigating demanding, high-stress environments. Through those experiences, he discovered firsthand the value of mindfulness, self-awareness, and intentional living. Today, he shares those practices with others, helping individuals and organizations cultivate greater clarity, resilience, and well-being.
Grant is the founder of Grounded Mind Studios and a passionate advocate for helping people reconnect with themselves through mindfulness, movement, and intentional living. Drawing from a diverse life journey that spans entrepreneurship, craftsmanship, leadership, and wellness education, he brings a practical and approachable perspective to personal growth.
